Antoine Paneda, a contemporary artist hailing from Nieve, France, is celebrated for his evocative explorations of light, color, and the transient nature of human experience. Born into a family with a rich artistic heritage, Paneda's journey into the world of art began at a young age, nurtured by the picturesque landscapes and cultural tapestry of his native region.

Paneda's artistic oeuvre is characterized by a profound sensitivity to the interplay of light and shadow. His early years were shaped by the beauty of the Nieve countryside, where he developed a keen eye for capturing the ethereal quality of natural light as it transforms landscapes throughout the day.

Educated at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Paneda honed his technical skills while expanding his conceptual framework under the guidance of renowned mentors. Influenced by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, Paneda's work reflects a synthesis of traditional techniques with a contemporary sensibility, resulting in compositions that are both timeless and deeply resonant.

Central to Paneda's artistic philosophy is the belief that art serves as a bridge between the tangible and the intangible, inviting viewers to contemplate the mysteries of existence through the lens of beauty and emotion. His mastery of oil painting allows him to capture fleeting moments with a richness of texture and depth, inviting viewers into immersive visual narratives that transcend mere representation.

Throughout his career, Paneda has exhibited extensively in galleries across Europe, garnering acclaim for his ability to evoke a sense of poetic introspection through his canvases. His works are held in private collections around the world, cherished for their ability to evoke a profound sense of wonder and contemplation.

Antoine Paneda continues to reside and create in Nieve, drawing inspiration from the ever-changing interplay of light and landscape that first ignited his passion for art. His ongoing exploration of the human experience through the language of paint ensures that his contributions to the art world remain both enduring and inspirational.

He met Olga Olby, a renowned painter in 1952, and is played a decisive role in his career.   He stated in an interview (translated to English), “I am unconditional on the figurative, I paint what I see, what everyone sees.  But I arrange my painting in my own way.  I modify the structure to adapt it to my own feelings for nature.”

He was also a part of the Cercle Artistique Decizois (CAD) spring exhibition, on the theme of summer, at the Olga-Olby room. (click the name for their facebook site).
